The Feast of “El Noveno”, declared of Regional Tourist Interest, is traditionally held the second weekend of May. It is the "Fiesta Grande" of San Felices and history goes back to "The Ninth" tax directed by the Duchy of Alba, owners of the manor since 1479. This tax affected not only the residents of San Felices, but also those of nearby towns and was delivered to the lord a hand in ninth of everything produced in the neighborhood. Later, when the inhabitants of the affected municipalities bought from Philip II the unappropriated lands of his term, there begins a lawsuit by the new owners against the House of Alba, in order to eliminate that tax. In the passage of time, the litigation becomes distinctly legal, producing several statements. In 1837, the person in the finals defending the neighbours in the court, stopped paying for "The Ninth" and in 5.11.1852, six judges gathered in the Superior Court of Valladolid, Dictate Real (and final) Judgement (confirming a former one in 1848) by which the judges understand that the tax had been abolished by law. Since then, it was agreed that the mayors of the municipalities concerned would meet every May 11 to ensure that the decision was filed, participate in events organized and attended Mass with deacons and singing the "Te Deum" thanks giving. Today, the party, in addition to actions listed above, includes, basically, giants and big heads, public entertainment, release of heifers, festivals, bulls, cultural events... The bullring of San Felices, now unique in the world, is not an Orthodox place, but located on the Plaza Mayor of the town, formed along paths, palisades (like boards) and old carts tillage arriving to form a closed surface in a rectangle, which, in turn, is enclosed by the buildings that form the square, so that the bulls may be inside the fence of the carts, and / or, between these cars and nearby buildings. The bullfights are free of charge, and its showmanship and uniqueness (unique in the world) are the central attraction of the festival, which as mentioned before, was designated as the Feast of Regional touristic Interest.

The Feast of Santa Cruz is held the first weekend of May in honor of the Divine Lamb. Organized by the Brotherhood of Jesus of Nazareth (with a tradition of over five hundred years), this religious festival is of great importance not only in the Salamanca district of Abadengo, but in neighboring and beloved Portugal, where from many pilgrims come. Highlighted as an important part in the celebration of the feast is a welcome to the Portuguese pilgrims, the vigil of prayer, the procession with the image gathering many promises during the event, the delivery of the new mayors rods of the brotherhood that holds a distinctly medieval character and holding their treats rigorously, being the center of the banquet "the piñonates" prepared by the stewardesses with almond and sugar exclusively for guilds. It is worth admiring the costumes of the Brotherhood for the richness of their costumes as shawls and blankets. Among the events of the celebration, one feels impressed after the fireworks of the night from Friday to Saturday in the morning, when hundreds of people watch the image of Jesus the Nazarene in the chapel of the same name, until, with the prayers and rosaries, the day dawns with the Mass of the Dawn. And the most moving moment is the Saturday, about 11:30 am, with the procession of Jesus' descent from Nazareno Parish Church chapel to “Nuestra Señora de los Álamos”.
